When you are preparing for your next client or project, your first thought is to make sure you send a compelling (and appealing) message to your audience. Aside from your content, there is another (simple) way to sell yourself - make it look good and make it look like quality! Chaotic and messy presentations can easily turn your audience away and not hear a word you are saying. How many times have you sat in front of a presentation that just looked awful?

If anyone were to ask me what my absolute favorite tool is to run my creative business, hands down Adobe Illustrator. I don't think I could work without. It's a nice medium across all design platforms. I can easily edit and create products that I could also create in Photoshop and Indesign. What makes it better? It's all personal preference but I believe Illustrator is a little more user-friendly. With this tool, you can boost your visual appeal online in a matter of hours!
After living "comfortably" in a box of societal norms, I realized how crazy I was becoming. Post college, I began falling into this deep dark hole of career-depression (a term I made up right now in this post). For many of us, we realize how unfulfilled we are 3-5 years into our professional years. Some sooner. Some later. But we figure it out. (If you are that person who's found passion in your work right out of college - lucky you. It's grim out here for the most of us).
If you are like me, I can be a stickler with how things look and feel for my users when it comes to designing (even me for that case). I have been through 3 business card designs and still have copies of each because I would change it up before I can finish the last stack. Most of the time it was because I just wasn't 100% sold on the design. I like simple, clean and modern designs that can be used in any setting or networking even.
